Newtype Industries Co., Ltd., headquartered in Seoul, Republic of Korea, together with its U.S. affiliate Newtype Industries USA, Inc. in Virginia (collectively "Newtype Industries", "we", "us"), takes its data protection and privacy responsibilities seriously. This notice explains what personal information we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, how we share and protect it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Scope of this notice
This notice applies only to personal information collected through this website. It does not apply to information we collect through other channels, such as contracts with customers and suppliers, or to third-party websites we link to. Our careers site, LinkedIn and other linked services are operated separately and are subject to their own privacy policies. We have no control over those sites, and your use of them is at your own risk.
2. What personal information we collect and why
This website does not offer user accounts or web forms. We collect personal information in two ways: information you send us directly, and information collected automatically while you browse.

We use this information to:
- respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about them;
- display the website in the language you selected;
- measure page performance, identify and fix errors, and keep the website stable and secure;
- protect against, identify and prevent security incidents, fraud and other unlawful activity; and
- comply with applicable laws, regulations and lawful requests from public authorities.
3. Sharing your personal information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:
- With cloud hosting and monitoring service providers that host and operate the website on our behalf and process the technical and usage information described above. They act under contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations and process personal information only to provide their services to us.
- With public authorities, where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process or a lawful request from law enforcement or a regulator. We validate such requests before disclosing any personal information.
- In a business transfer. If we sell or transfer some or all of our business or assets, we may disclose personal information to the actual or prospective purchaser.
We may share aggregated, statistical information about website traffic and usage that does not identify any individual.
4. How we protect and retain your information
We maintain technical and organisational security measures designed to reduce the risk of accidental loss or destruction of, and unauthorised access to or disclosure of, your personal information. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls limited to personnel who need the information, and the security controls of our hosting provider. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please take appropriate care with the information you send us.
We retain personal information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. We may keep it longer where legal, regulatory, tax or accounting requirements require it, or where we reasonably believe it is needed in connection with a complaint, dispute or anticipated litigation. When it is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it without delay.

5. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent you have given. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In the Republic of Korea this is the Personal Information Protection Commission or the Personal Information Infringement Report Center. If you are outside Korea, you may contact the authority in your own jurisdiction.
To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@newtypeinds.com. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond without undue delay, and in any event within the time limits set by applicable law. These rights are not absolute. If we cannot fulfil a request, for example because the law requires us to keep the information, we will tell you why and explain any further steps available to you.
6. Cookies and how to manage them
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser. This website uses only the cookies listed below. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
